N800 Released!

Nokia anounced the new N800 tablet at CES today. Building on the success of the Nokia 770, the device features more powerful hardware with updated software and a sleek design. OpenedHand worked on enhancements to N800’s ‘Maemo’ software stack with improvements to Matchbox window manager, the EDS based address book framework, maemo desktop and task navigator.
A happy new year to all from everyone in the OpenedHand team. Expect over this year to see more devices running OH software, a much needed updated and more informative website, many clutter and poky improvements together with new embedded open source tools and applications.
We’re also pleased to announce Rob Bradford has joined the team. Welcome Rob!
